When you first create your profile you will need to select your physical activity level. Our system will use this info along with your current goal weight and target weight goal to calculate your calories in and calories burned target numbers to provide a date you should achieve your target weight.
If you want feel our recommended calorie intake is too high, you can update your physical activity level. Go to the Goal settings from the side menu bar and adjust your target weight date to find a more suitable recommended calorie intake number. There you can change your activity level.
The four activity levels are:
● SEDENTARY
A state of general inactivity with no exercise beyond baseline actives of daily living.
● SLIGHTLY ACTIVE
A state of activity beyond that of baseline daily living, but fewer than 150 minutes of moderately intense physical activity a week. Daily exercise that is equal to walking for 30 minutes at 4mph. For an adult of average weight, this amount of exercise will burn about 130-160 additional calories.
● ACTIVE
A state of activity that ranges from 150-300 minutes of moderately intense physical activity a week. Daily exercise that is equal to walking for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 4mph. For an adult of average weight, this amount of exercise will burn about 470-580 additional calories.
● HIGHLY ACTIVE
A state of activity beyond 300 minutes of moderately intense physical activity a week. Daily exercise that is equal to walking for 4 hours and 15 minutes at 4mph. For an adult of average weight, this amount of exercise will burn about 1,150-1,400 additional calories.
